Iinii Insights
All beings humans, animals, plants, and the landscapes, are intricately interconnected. This profound understanding fosters a deep sense of responsibility towards one another and the world we inhabit. Kindness is not merely an action; it is a recognition of our shared existence and mutual reliance. When we practice kindness, we honour the relationships that sustain us, acknowledging that every small gesture contributes to the greater tapestry of life.
On Thursday, February 26, we will celebrate Pink Shirt Day @ NLC. This a day dedicated to cultivating a community rooted in kindness and compassion. Much like nurturing a garden, we each have the power to foster a sense of belonging wherever we live, work, and study. It begins with simple yet meaningful acts, a warm word, an open heart, or a supportive hand.
If we each commit to planting these seeds of kindness, we will soon see their blossoms emerge, creating a vibrant atmosphere of empathy and understanding in our communities. Together, let's grow a more compassionate world where everyone feels valued and included!

Classroom Connection
We were honoured to welcome Mr. Skip Wolfleg Jr. to share teachings with our school community. He shared drum songs inspired by the animals of the mountains and spoke about the importance of listening deeply and showing respect for dance and drum. In the traditional way of learning, we grow by watching, listening, and reflecting.
Thank you for guiding us in these meaningful teachings.
